DC: Love Cafe
I didn't actually go to Love Cafe, but my friend bought me a cupcake:
It was vanilla with lime buttercream:
The cake itself was just plain vanilla and while it was definitely better than the cake at Hello Cupcake, it wasn't anything too special. The lime buttercream, however, was fantastic. It was surprisingly light and the lime taste was tangy and refreshing.
Looking at their website, it looks like Love Cafe has a lot more going on than just cupcakes. Looks like I'll have to check it out someday.
