Cambodia: Lux Riverside Hotel
On the morning of the last day of our bar trip, I woke up super early to try to mail out my postcards. I left CK still sleeping in the hotel and armed with only vague directions from the concierge, I set out to find the post office.
It took me a while, but I eventually found it. I managed to get a scenic tour of Phnom Penh in the the process. The post office wasn't yet open, so I waited at the door anxiously, praying that it would open early enough for me to get back to the hotel in time to catch our ride to the airport.
God hears prayers. When the post office opened, I was the first person at the counter. One thing I quickly learned: mailing postcards in Cambodia isn't cheap.
Sigh. The things I do for my friends...
Anyway, I got back to the hotel in time to wake up CK, pack, and get downstairs to the dining room for some complimentary breakfast.
The selection wasn't very large. I made do with orange juice, a chocolate croissant, fries (yay!), and an egg:
And this, my friends, is the last post from my trip to SE Asia. Woot woot! I did it! Finally.
From Phnom Penh, we flew into Taipei. We took advantage of our eight hour layover there to hit up Shilin Night Market and munch on some last minute yummies, including grass jelly shaved ice from Meet Fresh, manga snow ice from Xin Fa Ting, giant fried chicken cutlet, and of course, pearl tea.
Best. Layover. Ever.
Hell.
Best. Trip. Ever.
