San Francisco: Kowloon Tong Dessert Cafe

It didn't feel right ending the night with just Gott's Roadside, so TT brought my sister and I to Kowloon Tong Dessert Cafe for some late night dessert:

There was actually a large crowd:

Who are all these people and why aren't they at home in bed?

We weren't really all that hungry, but we grudgingly picked a few things so that we wouldn't get kicked out.  First was the mo mo cha cha which is essentially a hot sago and coconut milk soup:

It was aight.

To balance out the sweetness, we ordered some stir fried rice noodle rolls:

Also just aight.

The last dessert was a hot ginger milk curd, which I actually enjoyed:

I love ginger desserts.

Lots to choose from at Kowloong Tong Dessert Cafe.  Definitely a good late night place for some cheap eats.  Don't expect to be wowed by the food, but I suppose people choose to congregate at Kowloong Tong more for a place to hangout than to stuff their faces.  Except for maybe the waffle ice cream sandwiches.  Those looked pretty yummy.
