San Francisco: Marco Polo Italian Ice Cream
TT is on a mission to try every ice cream place in San Francisco. Marco Polo was another one on her list:
The sign says Italian ice cream, but all the flavors are distinctively Asian:
Durian, soursop, mango, guava, green tea, and mangosteen. How awesome does that sound?!
My favorites were definitely the durian and the guava. The mangosteen didn't really taste like mangosteen, to my great disappointment. Despite not being wowed by soursop juice during my trip to SE Asia, the soursop ice cream was actually pretty good.
Definitely a fan of Marco Polo. I wanted to throw in some pun about Marco Polo, but alas, I'm just not that witty. Can anyone think of any?

All the exotic Asian fruits you could possibly want. Plus the guy behind the counter was Asian.
