New York: Shu Jiao Fu Zhou

We probably should have stopped at two breakfasts, but since we were in the vicinity if Shu Jiao Fu Zhou, we couldn't resist squeezing a last one in:

Though technically I suppose it would be more accurate to call it lunch given the time.

Upon walking in, I immediately knew it was going to be good.  The place was packed with older Chinese people, which is always a good sign:

Stuffed to the gills, we forced ourselves to finish a plate of wheat noodles in peanut sauce ($2.50):

Sometimes all you need is noodles and sauce.  So simple and yet so delicious.  And only for $2.50!!

What I love about New York is that while food can get quite expensive, you're still able to find holes in the wall where you can eat a solid meal for dirt cheap.  I mean, we paid $5 in total (cash only of course) at Shu Jiao Fu Zhou.  That's insane!  I can't think of a single place where we can do that in the Bay.

Because it was so cheap, we had to make our ancestors proud and add an order of six pork and chive dumplings ($2.50):

Apparently we're masochists because why else would we order more food when we're already full to the point of pain?  FOMO?  The inability to turn down a good deal?  It's a sickness.  That's what it is.

We need help.
