South Bay: The Funny Farm

When CK and AG went back to Chicago for a week in October, Abby house-sat for them.  My family had just gotten Abby a Nintendo Switch and the Overcooked game for her birthday, so of course I had to go over during the weekend to take advantage of CK's super big TV screen.  We played late into the night, continued upon waking, and only stopped to venture outside for sustenance early in the afternoon.

A quick Yelp skim led us to The Funny Farm, located in the back corner of The Sideline Sports Bar:

It being a sports bar, lighting was dim and it took some creative maneuvering to maximize the very limited natural lighting.

We split the Cowboy ($14), which was an Angus beef patty topped with pulled pork rib and an onion ring on a toasted brioche roll with Funny Farm sauce:

We also got the El Jeffe ($12), which had shredded mojo pork, shaved black forest ham, Swiss cheese, mustark, and pickles on thick cut brioche:

We switched out the steak fries for tater tots.

To be honest, at the time, my mind was consumed with thoughts of Overcooked and how to pass the next level, so I don't remember much about The Funny Farm.  Except that I found nothing to complain about.  And that I wanted to go back to try their loaded tots.

Because tots.

Completely unrelated to The Funny Farm, if you haven't played Overcooked yet, FIX THAT.  Seriously.  It's addicting and the perfect game to either build friendships...or end relationships.
