Oakland: Tacos El Grullo

AG has been doing a fantastic job of scoping out the taco scene in Oakland.  I love how he does all the research and I just show up to eat.  We keep telling him that he needs to make a taco tour and sell it as an Airbnb experience.  

AG's taco tour itinerary is ever changing, but one constant is Tacos El Grullo:

Street parking is my archnemesis, so I always appreciate when there's a parking lot.  Especially in a city like Oakland.  I appreciate it even more when the parking spots are labeled for tacos:

All tacos are $3 except for lengua and and tripa, which are $3.50 each.  I'm always willing to pay extra for tripas:

It might not be the best tripas I've ever had, but it's still delicious.  

In fact, all the meats at El Grullo are delicious.  Like the carnitas:

You really can't go wrong at El Grullo.  Unless you show up with no cash.  In which case, you should've known better.

Bring your cash, park in the taco only spot, and try one of every taco at El Grullo.  You can thank me later.
