SF Peninsula: Yumi Yogurt
There was a line, but it went pretty quickly. Before we knew it, we were next in line and still undecided about what we wanted:
Unfortunately, due to pandemic times, there was no sampling allowed. We just took a leap of faith and went with cookies and cream and ube coconut purple cake froyo in a medium cup ($6.99) with hot fudge ($1.50):
The original plan was to take the froyo back to CL's place. But while I was snapping a couple photos of the sweet treat, I noticed that it was melting at an alarming rate.
So alarming that I fast walked to T's car, wrenched open the car door, and screamed, "GET OUT OF THE CAR!" I startled T so badly that she didn't close her glove compartment before scrambling out.
It was necessary though. I highly doubt the froyo would've survived the short drive. The three of us managed to find a table outside Yumi Yogurt and quickly demolished the cup together.
Despite the panic-inducing melting rate, we appreciated both Yumi Yogurt's creamy texture and the fact that it wasn't too sweet. Maybe winter is the best time to go to Yumi Yogurt? The froyo might last a bit longer in colder weather.
