Philippines: Mila's Store and Restaurant
On the way back to our bungalow, we passed by this little store/restaurant:
There was a whiteboard menu posted outside and when we saw that it was all desserts, we didn't even confer with each other before making a sharp left inside:
It was just after dinner, so we weren't super hungry. The five of us split an ube shake (P 50 / $0.97):
A mango float (P 90 / $1.75):
And a halo halo (P 50):
The mango float was my favorite. I'm not sure what was in it, but it had some kind of cream or custard that was super delicious and not too sweet. Unlike the halo halo, which at times felt like literally crunching on sugar. A little too intense for me.
We loved the laid back feel of Mila's. Definitely a chill place to just hang out and enjoy some sweets.
