Lake Tahoe: Sweet Tahoe Time
As we were driving back to the cabin from a little outing to Crystal Bay Cove, someone suddenly mentioned that it would be nice to have some ice cream. Right at that moment, CK spotted Sweet Tahoe Time and immediately pulled an abrupt U-turn into their lot:
Due to the pandemic, we were not allowed to sample flavors first, which took some of the fun out of it. However, ice cream is always a joy, so we really can't complain.
I guess that meant we were getting ice cream.
There were quite a few ice cream flavors to choose from and best of all, all prices included a trip to Sweet Tahoe Time's toppings bar, where you can choose whatever toppings you like:
I ended up getting a small cup of salted caramel ($4) with hot fudge on top:
Abby, who is infinitely wiser than I am, got the best of both worlds by asking for her small waffle cone of espresso explosion ($4) to come in a cup:

Everyone at Sweet Tahoe Time was very friendly and...sweet. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. But it's true. Not only that, but the ice cream itself was delicious. Also, free toppings! How can you not love that?
