Korea: Meal Top
After jokbal, CK's friend took us to the Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong for dessert:
At the very top floor is Meal Top:
According to CK's friend, the wait at Meal Top can get quite ridiculous during peak times. Luckily, we didn't have to wait at all.
What Meal Top is known for is their patbingsu (shaved ice). We ordered two, the milk with red bean and the green tea with red bean:
The milk one tasted just like the snow ice I love so much in Taiwan. So while it was indeed delicious, it wasn't anything novel to me.
What it was, however, was EXPENSIVE. That tiny bowl was 7,000 won ($7)! But what can you expect in a department store, right?
