Korea: Fa
Following the action-packed days of the tour, it felt nice to just take it slow. We spent Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) back in Suwon eating a fantabulous meal prepared by CK's grandmother. Really, home cooked Korean is the best.
The day after, we ordered jajangmyeon delivery just for the fun of it. All it took was one phone call and magically, three huge bowls of jajangmyeong arrived at our front door:
Each came with a tray of pickled daikon, onions, and some kind of sauce:
The texture of the noodles were wonderfully Q:
Unfortunately, the jajang sauce was a bit on the bland side. The onions in it were great though, very sweet.
Three bowls were way too much for the three of us. We had to force ourselves to wade through two and the third bowl we passed over to CK's mom, uncle, and grandmother.
When the bowls were all cleared, we slipped them into the provided plastic blue bag and left it at the front door for pickup. No dish washing necessary!
