Thailand: Vimanmek Palace
Vimanmek Palace was quite impressive, but its food court was even more so. What's a museum slash former royal palace without a food court?
This particular food court was small, but it served its purpose well:
We were actually supposed to have lunch somewhere else, but AG's uncle's friend's wife warned us that there might be traffic so we should eat a "snack" first.
Apparently to her, "snack" meant full meal.
We had basil pork over rice:
And pad see ew:
We also got fresh blended juices. I went with pineapple:
Super cheap and unexpectedly very delicious. I won't knock museum food ever again. At least not in Thailand.
Turns out there wasn't any traffic at all. We arrived at MBK shopping center, did some halfhearted shopping (in which CK got a bunch of scarves), then found ourselves eating second lunch less than an hour after our "snack."
